Before issuing qualifying documents, candidates are required to obtain a sign permit for their off-site political signs. Sign permits are issued at the City Clerk’s office as part of the qualifying process.
Refer to Sign Ordinance 5.7: Sign Permits and Fees, Section J4 (on page 26 of the Sign Ordinance) – Temporary off-site signs are required to have permits(including political campaign signs, etc.: $25.00 to help pay for sign cleanup after event. No limit on number of signs. Must notify Building Official first.
